Free Family Fun for the community!

Dr. Compton is a celebration of Dr. Neil Compton and the issues he championed in Arkansas and beyond. This is a free community event for all ages to learn about conservation, environmental stewardship and recreational activities in NWA. Activities feature interactive stations created by the Amazeum, Crystal Bridges, The Ozark Society and many more. We will have live music and ice cream provided by the Spark Café. Look for more information and follow us on our social media. This event is free and open to the public. This is a rain or shine event

The highlight of the celebration will be the unveiling of our very own Dr. Compton Neon Sign, and will be followed by a raffle drawing!

We are excited to partner with the Bentonville Farmers Market by Downtown Bentonville Inc. for Dr. Compton Day on Saturday August 10th from 9am-noon.  This is an event you won't want to miss! The celebration is at Compton Gardens and goes through 3rd street into the Bentonville square and Farmers Market.
