- Take a restroom break before or after your walk through the Gardens.
- Sit down at the interactive computer kiosk where you can learn more about Dr. Compton, his life, family and how his vision is being carried on here at Compton Gardens.
- Sign our guest book to be informed of upcoming Peel House Foundation events.
- Review Dr. Compton's published books.
- View the memorial wall of photos, letters, quotes, and articles.
- Enjoy "The Buffalo River in Black and White" - a picture wall of the Buffalo National River, as seen through Dr. Compton's eyes. Learn how he was instrumental in saving the Buffalo River and establishing it as the first national river.
- Peruse the Native Plant Database, a notebook filled with pictures and information on the botanical, scientific and family names of the native plants found at Compton Gardens.
- Look through the "Nature in Art" books, which hold original paintings of the home and gardens of Compton Gardens, created by local artists
- Pick up brochures and informational literature about Peel Mansion, Compton Gardens, The Conference Centre at Compton Gardens, the Benton County Historical Society, and the Northwest Arkansas Genealogical Society.
- Ask about volunteer opportunities in the Gardens or as a docent in the Interpretive Center.
- Purchase a photo note card as a Compton Gardens souvenir or for a gift.
- Make a donation to help continue the development of Compton Gardens.
